WhatsApp Group Admin Shot Dead After Removing Member in Pakistan

 

Peshawar, Pakistan – March 8, 2025 – In a shocking incident, a man was shot dead after a dispute over a WhatsApp group removal turned violent. The victim, identified as Mushtaq Ahmed, was allegedly killed by Ashfaq Khan after he was removed from the group.

According to local police reports, the incident occurred in Peshawar when Mushtaq, who was the administrator of a local WhatsApp group, decided to remove Ashfaq from the group. The removal reportedly angered Ashfaq, leading to a heated exchange of words. In an attempt to resolve the matter, both parties agreed to meet, but the situation took a tragic turn when Ashfaq allegedly opened fire, killing Mushtaq on the spot.

Authorities have launched an investigation, and police officials confirmed that Ashfaq fled the scene after the shooting. Law enforcement agencies are conducting raids to locate and apprehend the suspect.
